When Metro Pictures, Goldwyn Pictures and Louis B. Mayer Productions were molded into the legendary MGM in 1924, one classic after another spewed forth?spotlighting Hollywood's greatest stars in a decades-long "golden age." MGM used their "Midas touch" in: North West Frontier (1959) starring Lauren Bacall and Kenneth More, Doc (1971) with Harris Yulin, Stacy Keach and Faye Dunaway and The King and Four Queens (1956) with Clark Gable and Eleanor Parker.
